General Practitioners
Dr. Gary Mullaley
(General Practitioner - M.B.B.S, FRACGP)
Dr. Mullaley is very much a local product, born and raised in Perth, and graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1995. As a junior doctor, he worked at Fremantle Hospital and briefly at Princess Margaret and King Edward hospitals. He obtained his fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2001. As a GP, Dr. Mullaley has worked in two urban practices and two rural posts in the Pilbara—six months in Wickham in 2001 and two years in Paraburdoo as a solo GP from 2006 to 2007. He also worked as a hospice care doctor for Silver Chain and as a supervising doctor for cardiac testing.
Additionally, Dr. Mullaley has been involved in providing GP education, orientation for overseas doctors, supervision for students, and training GPs. He started at Total Health in Ellenbrook in June 2024. As a GP, he particularly enjoys seeing children and has extensive experience in chronic disease management. Outside of medicine, Dr. Mullaley is married with four adult children and is an active member of Encounter Church in Wangara. He plays guitar, sometimes percussion, and occasionally the bass. He and his family have been very involved in sports, particularly the Ellenbrook Rovers Christian Football Club (soccer), where he continues to coach.
Dr. Kaushik Patel
(General Practitioner - M.B.B.S, FRACGP)
Dr. Kaushik Patel is a dedicated General Practitioner (MBBS, FRACGP) with experience across multiple hospital departments at St John of God Midland before transitioning to community general practice. This varied clinical background underpins his calm, thorough, and patient-centred approach to care.
He has special interests in general family medicine, chronic disease management, men’s health, mental health, and sexual health, and he also provides child health checks and immunisations. Dr. Patel is committed to clear communication and continuity of care, and consults in English, Gujarati, and Hindi.
Dr Kyaw Kyaw (Ken)
(General Practitioner - M.B.B.S, FRACGP)
Dr Kyaw Kyaw is a caring and experienced General Practitioner with broad clinical experience across hospital, maritime, and community settings. He graduated from the University of Medicine 1 (Myanmar) in 2006 and has since worked as a hospital medical officer, ship medical officer, and GP, bringing a practical, patient-centred approach to every consultation. After moving to Australia in 2014, Dr Kyaw has continued to provide comprehensive primary care for individuals and families.
His clinical interests include child health and immunisation, chronic disease management, family medicine, and skin cancer care. He is committed to clear communication, preventive health, and building long-term relationships with his patients to support their ongoing wellbeing. Dr Kyaw consults in both English and Burmese.
Dr. Nay Thwin
(General Practitioner - M.B.B.S, FRACGP)
Dr. Nay Thwin is a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner with over 14 years of medical practice across a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals in Taiwan and Perth, Geraldton Hospital, and general practices throughout Western Australia. His broad clinical experience has shaped his patient-centred approach and strong commitment to quality care.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Dr. Thwin has a keen interest in general medicine, men’s health, chronic disease management, and emergency medicine. His calm and methodical approach, combined with his wealth of experience, allows him to support patients with a wide range of health concerns effectively and compassionately.
Dr. Thwin is passionate about providing accessible, comprehensive care and building long-term relationships with his patients to support their ongoing health and wellbeing.
Dr. Maisie Maung
(General Practitioner - M.B.B.S, FRACGP, Dip Paed)
Dr. Maisie Maung is an experienced and compassionate General Practitioner who has been caring for patients in both urban and rural areas of Western Australia for nearly a decade. She values the diversity that general practice offers and is dedicated to delivering holistic, patient-centred care across all stages of life.
Her areas of special interest include skin cancer management, women’s health, chronic disease management, mental health, and minor surgical procedures. Dr. Maung is committed to continuous professional development and clinical excellence, holding a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), a Diploma of Paediatrics (Dip Paed), and a Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine (CSCM). She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her dedication to high standards of general practice.
Dr. Maung is passionate about building long-term relationships with her patients and supporting their health and wellbeing through evidence-based, personalised care.
Physiotherapy
Dr. Mark Hynes
Physiotherapist – MPhysio, BSc (Sports & Exercise)
Mark graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy from Curtin University Western Australia. Prior to this Mark obtained his Bachelor of Science (Sports and Exercise) from Edith Cowan University in Joondalup.
Mark enjoys treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and strongly believes in the importance of taking the time to ensure his patients understand their condition then together developing an achievable plan to ensure their optimum recovery.
Mark is passionate about assisting his patients back to full function to ensure their ongoing quality of life. Outside of work Mark enjoys being active and a variety of sports especially soccer (football) and is active in the community being involved with the local Wanneroo Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade.
Dr. Jordan
Physiotherapist – BSc (Physiotherapy)
Jordan graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. With experience in musculoskeletal settings, Jordan has worked with a diverse range of clients, helping individuals recover from injuries, manage chronic pain, and improve their overall function through evidence-based rehabilitation.
Jordan takes on a holistic and collaborative approach to treatment, ensuring every patient is at the centre of their care along their journey to long-term recovery. He is keenly interested in treating peripheral and spinal musculoskeletal injuries and post-operative rehabilitation, combining hands-on therapy with self-management principles. Outside of work, Jordan enjoys teaching the guitar and drums to his students whilst also staying active with the gym, running and bouldering.
Dietitian
Dr. Emily Omodei
Dietitian - BHSc, M Nutr & Dietetics
Emily Omodei is a compassionate Dietitian with over five years’ experience in private practice. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from Edith Cowan University and takes an evidence-based, practical approach that supports sustainable, real-life changes for individuals and families.
Her clinical interests include Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes; vegetarian and vegan nutrition; polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS); gastrointestinal conditions such as coeliac disease, diverticulitis and irritable bowel syndrome (including low-FODMAP approaches); weight loss and weight management; and chronic disease care including cardiovascular disease, hypertension and osteoporosis. Emily also has experience supporting patients with eating disorders, working collaboratively with GPs and mental-health clinicians to provide safe, holistic care.
